The following article will lay out what are the different types of skin, what causes them to be this way, and how you should treat each skin type and where to buy skincare products online.

Experts usually divide skin types into three major groups: normal skin, dry skin and oily skin. A common mistake would be to think that applying skin care products is a sensible thing to do when you suffer from a non-normal skin condition, but that is not true. The type of products you should use vary between the different skin types, but that doesn't mean that someone with a normal skin would remain so. Even a normal skin gets dry in certain scenario and is prone to different types of skin diseases and conditions.

The thing that causes skin to be part of one group rather than the other, else than special conditions like Eczema, are the glands that lie beneath it. There are the ones releasing a material called Sebum that its purpose in the human body is to oil one's skin in the exact quantity needed. One of the most common deficiencies in skin medicine is a defected gland that releases too much or too little of the substance.

That would cause the skin to be too oily (when too much Sebum is released) or too dry when not enough if the Sebum is released. So genetic codes, detecting the functionality of one's glands, but is that the only cause? Most definitely not. Things like the weather, mental status, medications and other diseases can cause irregular skin conditions.
